PURPOSE

The main purpose of Pageantry Arts Concepts is to remain an advocate and driving force for the advancement of the visual arts through performance and competition at local, regional, and national levels; to provide an opportunity for our community's youth between the ages of 12 - 24 to further their knowledge and ability in a professional setting. Whereby providing a high quality of education for its members focusing on the self-development of dedication, leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship and increasing their skill level and self-esteem.

Pageantry Arts Concepts and all its performing ensembles permanently enriches the lives of young people through a commitment to youth development and performance excellence, while providing enjoyment for our local community and audiences worldwide. Music and the performing arts connect youth with their culture through a common language crossing generational, social, and racial barriers. The activities that a young person pursues influences the type of person he or she becomes. The experience that comes with participation in a performing arts organization builds discipline, character, pride, and self-confidence at a crucial age and forms the springboard to even greater achievements in adulthood.

  • To encourage performers as a whole to their highest potential

  • To promote excellence, discipline, camaraderie and self-esteem through a unique fine arts program using music and visual arts

  • To promote good sportsmanship while entertaining through a competitive atmosphere in cooperation with local and national percussion circuits

  • To cultivate an appreciation for and promote education in the fine arts
